After 15 or more months of pandemic living, where every conversation ends with a call to safety, it’s time to try something else.
It’s time to encourage each other to take some chances.
Taking chances will mean different things to each of us of course.
It could mean meeting an old friend for coffee…
Or hosting a party…
Or flying somewhere you’ve wanted to visit…
Or going on a date…
You get the idea. People need people and there is nothing like looking someone in the face — the whole face. And no, looking through screens doesn’t count!
It’s time to change our theme; let’s make fear and safety take a backseat to confidence and courage.
And it’s time to find better ways to end our conversations.
Try something like ‘live confidently’ or ‘take some chances’.
